AUTOMATION OF THE TESTING PROCESS FOR A ROBOTIC SATELLITE TRACKING AND TARGETING SYSTEM

The project’s main objective is to develop an innovative, high-growth potential IT product prototype based on RPA.
Astrolight has developed the idea of combining virtual optical and real physical models of a robotic tracking system into a single automated testing environment. This solution will automate manual human handling (RPA). The integrated test system will consist of a user-selectable robotic two-axis optical homing platform, coupled to a computer program that reproduces the virtual optical satellite tracking model and emulates the optical communication characteristics.
The total value of the project is €103 241, of which €86 000 from European Union funds. The duration of the project activities is from July 2024 to June 2025.
